Definitely would be similar, but the problem is that Evergreen is very expensive. No way you could get a 1/2 lot in Evergreen for the $300,000.00 price the original poster wanted -- well, maybe you could by a LOT for that price, but there wouldn't be much if anything on it.

The Colorado Springs/El Paso/Teller county area has a lot more of the bigger forested lots for cheaper prices than you can find around Denver. Finding a 1/2 acre lot around there for the $300,000.00 price that the original poster wanted would be more do-able.
