Default Retreat at the Park Apartments

Does anyone have any opinions on this place? I am thinking about signing a lease but would like to know if this is a good place for a 22 straight SWM?

I semi-looked at this place when I was making my decision to move to Denver. Several posters on this forum gave negative reviews (staff was rude and snobby, etc) and that the building and it's residents felt like a constant frat party. I'm 28 and that's not what I was looking for, plus it wasn't in an area I was looking to live (kind of a ways from downtown and 16th street). I ended up going with The Boulevard. I was so impressed with that place.

It also depends what you want out of an apartment complex too and where you are at in your stage of life. And what your budget is too. You are a little younger (22) and you might be looking for/be okay with the right out of college party scene and maybe Retreat at the Park will work for you. However, there are much better places to live IMO out there. Check out Stations At The Park (great location, along the river, close to Coors)...someone on here recommended it, rented and gave it a good review.

Keep in mind that any apartment complex that seems to have a bunch of available places might not be the best place to live b/c there's a shortage of apartments downtown with the DNC coming in the fall and also b/c there are many foreclosers that are moving into rental units after they lose their home. So be wary of that.
