Mississippi Avenue, Denver questions?
Hello everyone... happy new year!
Quick question:
What is Mississippi Avenue like? Lots of nice streets and shopping areas?
I researched an apartment complex that looks pretty nice, and it's located on Mississippi Avenue in Denver (now I forget the name of the complex..LOL...but will post it later). Anyways, I'm curious about the area.
Many thanks!
Maddie Claire
P.S. We're moving to Denver January 19th.... W00-H00!!! Our paperwork is processed and we're good to go.

Thank you!
I'm trying to find an extra nice place to rent (house, condo, apartment), and right now I'm going in circles. Not knowing the areas makes it difficult.

Breakers is okay. I looked at it too. The apartments seemed old to me. It has a great gym area, but you pay for it in the rent amount. We actually decided on a complex right across the street. I find the corner of Mississippi & Havana a little sketchy at times. I think that if I had to do it over again, I would have chosen a complex a little closer to ones on Illif or Evans. Take my advice with a grain of salt, I have only been here since the end of Oct.

Thank you for your honest and realistic input, I really do appreciate it!
I have decided to move to the Highlands Ranch area instead....
I was told Highlands Ranch is nice and modern and has up to date amenities, also close to lots of shopping and restaurants (all this from the person in charge of our relocation).
I'm so excited about moving to Denver!!!! W00-H00!!! I don't care how much it snows either (my family is teasing me about all the snow)!
W00-H00 again!!!
Thanks again,
Maddie Claire

Good choice. We like the area a lot. Are you renting a house or condo? I'm not even sure there are any apts here, but there are some condos.

The first month we'll be in a corporate apartment which gives us plenty of time to find a house or apartment or condo.
Palomino Park Resort looks nice, and I have several leads on houses and condos as well.

There are three/four apt complexes in HR not including private rentals. Palamino, the one across from Eastridge & the ones off County Line & University.
