Default Aurora, CO / Iliff Ave -- PHOTO TOUR

Here's my photo tour I took today of various strip malls, homes, and pieces of nature off or right by Iliff Ave (between Parker and Buckley) in Aurora. This time I left them uncommented. The pictures speak for themselves; they tell of the tremendous diversity in Aurora and the range of age, gender, and social class groups in the city. Feel free to post your comments on the comment thread to save bandwith.

Okay, I cheated, this one is actually on Mexico Ave, but that's only a mile away:

That burger looks really good, how do you rate them? One of the best out in the Denver area?

I really wanted to try Twisters since it's an Albuquerque chain, and I'm in love with anything and everything New Mexico right now. I love green chili burgers, however I don't think it tasted all that special. It looked good though. The bun tasted freshly made, but the thing kept falling apart and get soggy quick. The actual burger was mediocre (not bad though, just nothing special). They have a full blown Mexican menu too, a whole bunch of breakfast burritos. Their breakfast burritos are pretty good-- they're HUGE and cheap.

Default Daniel's of Paris

Their pastries are awesome!

Thanks for capturing the "softer" side of Aurora, hopefully this will encourage more people to consider living there. The houses are more affordable in Aurora than Denver...

theskull42 is on a distinguished road
Holy crap, it's my entire world in a single post. Very nice! Many of these places are unexpectedly good, and I've basically grown up on Iliff (my whole life, I've lived in one of two places, both of which are right off the street, and I can SEE Rosie's Diner from my mom's house).

Love it, good to see someone from my neck of the woods, heh.
