Is there anyone on this board who knows about Breck? Thinking about relocating to area and would like to know more about the people and lifestyle. Thanks!

Breckenridge living has become very expensive and summer is only for a few months. The skiing is incredible and tons of tourist type of stuff to do but not cheap. I go up for visits during the summer and the winter, but many of the folks that have properties there make it their second or third property with other homes elsewhere. There is a local community of some wonderful people but it is a mountain community and most know eachother well. Tons of people live in the surrounding towns and drive in for work at the resorts and lodges during the winter, summer is much more relaxed.

A lot of people live in Dillon, Silverthorne and Frisco... Breck is a second home community for the most part. Will you be buying or renting?
