Default College in Denver

I am looking to go back and get a degree in accounting possibly a Master's degree in accounting. Anyone have suggestions for colleges in the Denver area? Best education? Most respected? Cheapest? Best quality for what you pay? A listing of colleges and stregnths would be great. Thanks in advance.

You can go to :: College Planning Made Easy | Inside Source for College Admissions Requirements and do a search based on your preferences. Having just suffered from sticker shock after my son enrolled at CU for the upcoming fall semester you might be interested to know that Colorado ranks 49th in state funding to higher ed. This means outrageous tuition rates even for in-state students. I'm not sure there is such a thing as "cheap" anymore.

Actually the state has started a fund that pays for a percentage of your tuition which is a huge help. They just started it about 1 year ago

That is actually the part of your tuition that is the state portion of the cost. So CU, for example, is no cheaper than before, it just is computed differently. Also, you must meet residency requirements.

Read the archives of my thread titled, "CU Denver Business School?" to hear what went through my mind when I was figuring out where I wanted to go a few months ago for my MS in Accounting program. I was very close to attending CU Denver, but made the final decision to go to USC (where I am right now). I also thought about DU too, which I talked about on that same thread.

If you're referring to the College Opportunity Fund, that currently ONLY pays $92 per credit hour. A drop in the bucket...
