Fun things to do in Denver 07 and 08
River North Art District (RiNo) Celebrates its 1st Birthday with a Two Day Tour & Celebration of Art!
It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since the inception of RiNo! To celebrate their first birthday, the RiNo district will be hosting a special two day tour of over 40 River North Art District locations on Friday January 26th from 6pm-9pm and Saturday January 27th from 11am-4pm.
The area has long been home to salvage yards, auto repair shops and concrete plants; a closer look reveals the artists who have called the area home for decades. RiNo has set the stage for art lovers to discover this hidden gem with a two day extravaganza. As an incentive to visit as many studios as you can, there will be raffle with fantastic prizes.
The weekend concludes with a full-scale Iron Pour at 4:30pm orchestrated by partners Rian Kerrane & Mark Guilbeau and Ironton Studios. They will raffle the ‘Wall of Wine’ and have birthday cake for the little RiNo and all RiNo friends!
Visit www.rivernorthart.com for more information.

Family Fun in Denver
Hey Everyone,
I am so excited to go home for a little bit!! April 25 - May 23rd we will be visiting Denver. Heres my problem...yes, I lived in Denver (Aurora) for 30 years and I was single with no kids. This time I am coming with my three year old. I want her to see the things I remember growing up like Childrens & Natural History Museum, the Zoo. There are a few things in the Springs we will be going to as well. I'm sure there are otherthings I don't know about that are for families. I had never been to the Aquarium (even when I was there). I looked it up on the web and it seems like it's more of a restaurant now. How is Casa Bonita these days? Is it still as fun as back in the day? Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Aloha
