As far as I know, bottled water isn't regulated like tap water is. Tap water has to meet certain standards, so it can't be that bad for you. I don't know that bottled water has to meet any such standards. that goes for the little bottles in the grocery store, too.

Default Aurora vs. Denver

Someone told me this weekend that Denver's water is better than Aurora's water. Do you think there is any validity to that?

I don't know anyone who drank San Diego's water. It tasted like I suspect cow manure tastes. I'll buy bottled here in Denver only if I have to while I'm on the go.
We just got back from a trip to So Cal including San Diego (great city by the way). My kids would not drink the water.

Here is some info from a study that appeared in Men's Health (I think early 2007) -- Denver was ranked as having the best water (least contaminants) out of 100 large cities in the nation. Phoenix was worst, LA was very bad. I don't think San Diego was on the list, maybe incomplete data. Aurora was 32 and Colorado Springs was 44 (with 1 being best).
