Default How do towns around Denver differ?

Hi everyone! My fiance and I are moving to Colorado from Phoenix, AZ in September. We have been on the internet looking at the following towns: Parker, Castle Rock, Centennial, Englewood and Littleton. I am sure there are also more nice towns but those are the ones that stuck out based on "the look" and price of the apartments there. Could someone please describe what each of those towns has to offer and how do they differ from one another? Are there certain attractions in one than another? More scenic views in one? More entertainment or outside recreation?

We are looking to live somewhere that offers easy access to stores, light to medium amount of traffic, and a variety of outdoor leisure activities. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

Littleton: close to the foothills, good views, relatively fast access to skiing, lots of families, huge area that stretches from the Oldtown Littleton all the way to the foothills and appeals to many different lifestyles
Castle Rock: small town feel, newer construction, young families, great views, splits the difference between Denver & the Springs, long drive to the mountains, lots of big box stores
Centennial: good access to light rail, employment centers, older families, understated wealth, heavy traffic on the through-ways
Englewood: no opinion
Parker: no opinion
