Hi everyone!

Sorry to broach an unpleasant subject, but can anyone recommend a great divorce/family law attorney in the Denver or Boulder area? I live in Arvada, so I'm kind of midway to both.

Thank you so much in advance!!

Is the divorce complicated? I have had friends who printed the forms online, filed out the paperwork and filed with the county w/o an attorney.

There are attorneys specialing in family law in Arvada too.

I would never want to go through that without an attorney.

From what I saw with my divorce, the paperwork involved? It was more than worth the $2000 I paid for the lawyer.

Did you divorce here? DO you have kids, money & property - those things and more, all complicate a divorce.

But if it's amicable, $100 to the county and 90 days is all you need.

I had no kids, but a few pieces of real property and lots of possesions, including a certain chihuahua that was visciously fought over.

Divorces can be nasty. Or they can be ammicable.

Thanks for the ideas --- I'd rather have an attorney represent me. Who knows how it will go, and I'd just like to have someone who knows what they're doing on my side!
