I know this post is old, but reading it helped me. I'm most likely (90% sure) I'm moving to the Denver area and have liked what i read about Lakewood. I have dwindled the apartment search to 5 apartments: Martston Pointe, Hunter's Ridge, Camden Centennial, Westlake Greens, Village at Loretto. Anyone heard of these places? Is there a place cheaper without all the amenities that have washer/dryer connections? Maybe an apartment that's just 2+ beds, 1+ bath with covered parking? Don't really need all the extras, unless i plan to live here longer.

Thought i'd bump this up. And add a little background. I was originally going to move to Pueblo, but ended up choosing Denver. I will be here for about 2 years and given a choice to still go to Pueblo or stay here. From what i hear, i may decide to stay. I did as much research as i could and really need to know what you guys think of those top 5 apartments.

Also maybe you've heard of these apartments in Westminster:
Hunters Cove, Camden Pinnacle, Skyline, Castlegate

And if i had to live in Aurora what would you recommend?

I like Deerfield Apartments in Southeast Denver (on the border with Unincorporated Arapahoe County and Aurora). It's in a quiet area but still close to downtown and the DTC. Just a thought. If you're working over on the west side of the metro area, Lakewood probably is a better bet.. but you mentioned Aurora, so I figured I'd throw this one out there.
