I'm a 22 male relocating to Denver. I just graduated from college and accepted a job in financial services located in Aurora. I know absolutely no one in the area and need help in relocating. What areas are best for young people? I would like to be walking distances to bars, restaurants and shops. After looking at apartments, I would like to spend about $500-750 on rent. I'm coming from New York so this is a bit of a change to me. Any help would be appreciated.

I can afford more than $750 but after researching listings on craigslist I figured that would be a fine range considering I saw many for much lower. I am looking to hopefully move into an apartment with someone needing an extra roommate. I keep hearing Capitol Hill and DU are nice areas to live. I'll also check out the University area. Besides craigslist, are there any other websites that are good for shared room listings?

I don't know. My daughter and her then bf found their apt by driving around looking for 'for rent' signs. That is another option.
