Default Suggestions

I'm planning to travel to Denver in October before I make a final decision on moving there. I am in IT and would like to check out the job market and companies that are there. I also want to check on possible places to rent or buy a house.

While I am there I would also like to do some sight seeing and see all the great things in Denver. Any suggestions on places I should definitely go to and places to check out. I'll be staying in the sheraton is this an easy place to find transportation to other locations? What is the temperature in denver during the October month?

Thanks.

Rent a car if you can. I'd go see Red Rocks, and if you can get a full day away, Rocky Mountain National Park/Estes Park.

I would suggesat a search on all the Colorado forums. Use the indexes. You will find links to various attractions, natural areas, bars, restaurants, museums and so forth.

do not move to colorado for an IT job. the market is deceiving and does not pay well. not to mention the actual jobs are few and far between. companies that have postings for jobs renew the post every week and dont hire. everyone that i know has had a difficult time finding a good job here in IT, media, and creative. extremely underpaid as well and denver is far from tech savvy. it is beautiful here and very accessible but if your looking to move for the job alone, i highly recommend not doing so.

again, not a knock on denver or co in general, just double check carefully.
