Best Happy Hour in Metro Denver
I would like some suggestions on the best Happy Hour in the Denver metro area. Happy Hour defined as the time in the late afternoons Monday through Friday (usually taking place between 4 pm and 7 pm). My perfect happy hour would be a balance of price, quality, service, and atmosphere. I am interested in places that don’t advertise it at all, or just have it on a chalkboard above the bar. I would like to know the special before I arrive. Where is your favorite Happy Hour, besides home, and what do they serve for appitizers?

I'm not an expert on this one (have done Boulder happy hours not really Denver). If I had to guess I'd say maybe Wynkoop, Chop House, that Irish pub nearby, and that microbrew on the 16th Street Mall (on right side going towards Union Station). The names of the last two evade me at moment.

I like Trios Enoteca. I think it's on Wynkoop, just up from the brewery. They have half priced wines, so I usually pay about $3 per glass. $5 personal pizzas and they aren't your usual fare, the seafood one has calimari on it. yum. And they do tapas, ranging from $2 to about $8 I think.
Enoteca is a wine/cigar bar. You smoke cigars in the back and their air filtration is awesome. I don't smoke, never had, and I hate smoky bars. This one is not like that at all. They have live jazz and it's dark and cozy there. Couches too. Good service. Knowledgeable staff. Check it out!

Mezcal
Mezcal has the best happy hour hands down (it's located on Colfax across the street from the Bluebird Theatre). Their mojitos cannot be beat and they have great taco specials.

Govnr's Park 2 for 1s until 7pm. Typical bar fare, but in my opinion, very good bar food, esp. the sliders. Also, The Park Tavern in Capitol Hill; they used to have 2 daily happy hours, one early, one late.

I like Marlowe's - $3.50 martinis and w/Three Olives vodka, not bad.
Also, Rialto, cheap martinis, $4 I think.
Then the Red Bistro, with as many infused vodka flavors you can think of $2 per shot.
