I'm looking to join a rock climbing group for ppl under the age of 40. Anyone know of one that's fun and good for beginners?

Try Use the Internet to get off the Internet! - Meetup.com for various hobby/interest groups. Good luck.

I used to do a bit of climbing myself. You should check out the Thrillseekers gym on Broadway. Not sure about groups and such, but you could ask around at that place. If I remember correctly, they have a bulletin board for climbing buddies and gear.
