really? I graduated from UCD last May. My DH goes to Metro. I think this semester all of his classes are online though. I know that his profs are giving him homework for that week. I wonder if the profs are really laying on the homework. Good luck in your studies!

I knew there was a reason why I moved to the western slope after living in the Denver area for 40 plus years. Sheesh!

Ryan: ha! Obama. No, it's not all that for Obama. It's for the DNC.

Double H: I suppose it was just a matter of time for the DNC to come to Denver.

And the fun begins! We would be better off with neither convention. Ironically most of the protest groups are protesting for the sake of protesting. They are ticked off that they got the person whom they were rooting for who believes in what they believe in so instead of being happy, they are frustrated!

When you are stuck in traffic for hours on end Thursday night because I-25 is closed and the fallout is beyond imaginable just thank senator Barack Hussein Obama. For attempt at political edge and to make a popularity statement he moved the speech to Mile high... He and he alone is the reason Thursday is going to be a nightmare for the denver commuter.

On a separate but related issue... did you like how the news buried the story about the man found in a prominent Denver hotel dead for 2 days with a pound of cyanide? I wonder what that was going to be used for...

Bullfish15! I noticed the article in the Rocky Mountain News and it wasn't that big an article. The Burnsley Hotel is a big outfit, for crying out loud. I don't get Denver TV news, except Fox31 at 9 p.m. What kind of coverage did the tv stations give on it?

I am quite thankful that Obama will be here giving an historic speech. Good for him, great for Denver.

Hopefully it's come to its senses. What, you think people in Minneapolis won't be inconvenienced when they shut down streets so Grandpa McCain can maneuver his Hoverround to his convention?
