I too am moving to denver. I am moving from Houston. It seems like denver is the place to be. I can't wait to start a new life. I actually took over 7k paycut to move to denver which cost more than houston. maybe I'm crazy, but i hope i don't get disappointed. I have no friends or family in denver, but i guess that's the way i like it; new start.. new life.

I heard one guy describe it best: "Denver, the way to everywhere else."

That being said, I love Denver and will probably end up there after I retire from the military.

Funny you say that...I've been wondering the same thing! I live in NYC and have been thinking about relocating to Denver.

Just curious, did you find a job before you moved out there? And if so, any suggestions?

Moved from Tampa are to Denver.
Never Want to go Back.
Only downside is the higher cost of everything. Plan on needing a 20% raise to equal the same life style.
(although Gas prices here are a lot less)

I was actually just in Texas and drove from there to Denver.. kind of cool how Denver is so centrally located, you're close to so much within a 2 hour flight. I'm from California and looking for a place to move to to start my "adult life" off as its really hard to get a start there with the cost of living being so high. Texas was interesting too but it seemed to lack much in the way of outdoor activities so Denver seems like a place I'd like better.

I'm from Grand Rapids, MI and will am moving out to Denver on 10/31. I thought it was funny that even my leasing agent I'm working with in Aurora was from Michigan's upper penninsula.
