I would say that yodi has given you some very good advice and I agree living in this area is very convenient. In addition the the Light Rail Station development on Hampden, there is now new construction near the Oxford Street Station, across Sante Fe which will add to the shopping amenities.

Transit Oriented Development (TOD) is one of the new terms in City planning that is becoming popular in the US with the development of commuter rail. You can read all about it at Transit Oriented Development

Englewood is the first community in Colorado that has built a TOD because of the new commuter rail. The site of the Englewood City center was once the largest shopping mall in the Western US called "Cinderella City". The mall aged, and there were newer and bigger competition so with the opening the Light Rail, the city demolished the mall and with some federal monies developed the TOD.

I have written much about this area of Englewood. I think it is a great place to live because of the transportation, the availabilty of shopping, and one of the best Hospital in Colorado is located right down the road, Swedish Hospital. This is a major hospital with a trauma center.
