Thank you all for your input! After a quick trip to the area to look around and get acclimated, we are leaning towards a home in Highlands Ranch, Castle Rock or Littleton. My son gets some mainstreaming, so I think he'd do fine in DCISD or JeffCoISD. We looked at 7-8 homes in the CCISD, and didn't find anything that fit us. We're going to have to spend a bit more than we anticipated (probably closer to $350K , but I think we'll be able to find something nice for that amount in HR/Littleton (in DCISD) or CR.

Thanks again to everyone for your input! It is much appreciated! We can't wait to get there!

The "i" stands for Independent. Most schools that I know of are called Independent School Districts (i.e. Houston Independent School District), although I've also seen some called (name of city) Public Schools.
