Eagle_22 is on a distinguished road
Default The best area for the younger crowd

I am 24 years old and just graduated from college. I have been offered a job in Denver and starting to research where the best places to live would be. I am looking for an area that would be fun for a young single male new to Denver. An area that has great nightlife for the 20-30 year old range (music venues, pubs, neat restaurants, etc.) and has reasonably priced housing is what I'm looking for. I would like to find a 1 or 2 bedroom condo/apt for less than $1000 a month. The office I would be working at is on 16th street so the closer the better. Like I said, I am just beginning to research the area and would love to hear about the different parts of the city from some locals. Thank all of you in advance for any helpful advice you can give me.

Capitol Hill or parts of Uptown, Cheeseman and City Park West.

Basically within a few blocks of Colfax from Sherman out to around Adams on the east.

Zips 80203, 80218 and 80206 generally in the northern parts of each.
