Default Are there many tile installation jobs or construction jobs in Denver.

Are there many tile companies in Denver or is there any deman for tile jobs? I know that Denver has many bank owned homes from builders who went under, but I wasn't sure if remodeling is still going strong?

Also, what is a good area in downtown denver to live that has older historic homes? What is a rough price for a old house in a good area that needs some fixing up?

Given the current economy I would be amazed if there was strong demand for tile jobs -- or any other job in Denver at the moment.

Older historic but in a good neighborhood (which varies depending on perspective) but needs some work. 300-400+ sounds possible if you are lucky. There are quite a few fixers in historic areas that are still asking 5-7+.

Default Tile in Denver

There is still a strong need for qualified tile trades in the metro area. Shops like Dal will tell you they are even with lat year...new construction is slowing / slower, but the need to update to quality finishes never dies. Check with the tile shops, remodelers like Brothers Reconstruction and Homevestors.
