I'm moving to Denver next fall from NY. I'll be going to school so I plan on being out there about 3 years. I would really like to stay in the city itself because I'm looking for convenience. Can anyone give me some good tips on where to live, hangout, etc.?

There are several areas in and around downtown that are very livable. The Highlands, Capitol Hill and Uptown are just outside of downtown and are established neighborhoods with alot of character. LODO is located in downtown and is surrounded by restaurants and nightlife. LODO is also much more expensive because of its location in the middle of everything. There's always alot going on around downtown: it's a good area for college students to hang out. If you're over 21, you'll enjoy the nightlife.
