Thanks sooo much for all your help!! I think we are going to look around uptown and city park too, thanks to you steveindenver!! So is City park safe?

Very. Given the new luxury towers going up in the area it might be a good bet for property inflation.

The golf course is decent and cheap; the free summer Sunday concerts in the park are better every year and there is a new 5k jogging trail going in.

It is not as high-end as Platte ... but it does offer more diversity and access to mutiple "landmarks" in terms of concert venues, resteraunts and other venues (Botanic Gardens, Tattered Cover etc.)
