Yah, it is nice over there. When I lived at Corona and Speer, we'd ride our bikes sort of the back way to Cherry Creek and it is super nice over there. Tons of trees, nice streets, just neat. We'd dream about living in one of those huge houses. I also love Wash. Park when it's not too busy.

Ooo, I didn't know they had another. I have been to all of Racine's locations, I'm not sure what to call all of them, they are excellent everywhere!

Racines is Good Friends (now closed) and then Dixon's downtown. I miss Good Friends. Pete's has at least 3 spots, maybe more.

You guys actually think Pete's Kitchen has good food? If it wasn't one of the only 24-hour restaurants in Denver I would never have eaten there willingly, especially since the only other choice would be Denver Diner.

I'm leaving Denver to move to a real city like Millwaukee; boy if I had a dollar for every time I have heard that old line....some of these observations by Jcob are so off base-I
inititially thought he was joking....Good Riddance....

omg the Diner!!!!!!! yum.
ok, one thing you have to understand JJ, if there is a 24 hr. joint here it's automatically assumed good. Where I live the entire place shuts down at 9pm, pathetic. And then there are those drunken nights when Taco Bell tastes gourmet!!

Poor JJ, I think people need to give him a break. He lived here once, didn't like it. It's his opinion. I don't like it here either. Just because you don't love Denver doesn't mean you are lame. To each his own.

Pete owns a number of resteraunts along Colfax; his better gyro place is just east of East High on the north side of Colfax.
They are what they are, greasy spoons but they do that well.
