Default safe area to sleep in car

I am thinking of moving to denver. i will probably sleep in the car for a few days. what is the safest place to do this?

Go to the flying J truckstop off I-70 (can't remember exit), park in row nearest truck parking. Access to restrooms and showers, food, 24 hr busy place so you're not secluded. Have fun

You could also park at walmart. They accept travel trailers, but I would stay at a truck stop because they have showers.

Sam's Club does the same as Wal-Mart (tons of RV's and Trucks around), same owners so not too surprising. The nice thing is they usually have video surveillance so if anything happens they can get the person.

If it gets very cold, I would recommend springing for a motel. At least bring along enough money to do this if you have to.

Be very careful about the weather. It does get cold at night. Its 47 in HR at 7:20 pm.
