murof is on a distinguished road
Default What do you think of this area of the Denver metro?

I am interested in the area along East 96th Avenue, which is Commerce City. This particular stretch of East 96th Ave is bordered to the Southby the Rocky Mountain Arsenal. On the West end is Highway 2. And on the East end is Tower Road. This is the stretch I am interested in.It would make it easy to get to and from work. I know Commerce City doesn't have a desirable sound to it.But I wonder if not all of Commerce City is ugly. The North area as discussed are newer construction andhave open spaces. I am a first-time home buyer, and the houses in these areasseem to be newer-built, and priced well below the Zestimate value, and thus within my price range. Presumably it is a high foreclosure area? Maybe like Green Valley Ranch?Nevertheless, I like the area from what I have seen of it. I have drivenup Highway 2 many times for my work (I drive a truck for a living),and it seems quite nice. I do not think there are many services in this area, however.Grocery stores, for example. What do you think of this area up near East 96th Ave?I can only afford 125K for a house and work at I-70 andHavana. This might be the best I can do.
