A worker at the 24 Hr. Fitness in Lowry told me a new 24 Hr. is opening downtown - I didn't ask specifically where though.

The DAC is Awesome! It's basically a downtown Country Club. It is very private. But members are members. They have social activities that you do with other members. There are a lot of fun and are well worth it, social gatherings. The have an amazing indoor health area. You'd have to see to believe. Just think of it this way. If you're looking for a good prestigious Country Club Downtown, w/o a golf course or tennis courts; pick DAC. It really helped us feel that sense of community and that is what we aimed to establish.

My husband joined the DAC about 2 yrs ago. He loves it! He mainly joined to be able to play squash. I'm not a member as I have a horse that keeps me busy. We just went to the summer clambake on the roof patio. Yum! We don't do much with other members or use it as much as we should.

It seems like 24 Hour Fitness is taking over the world! They're everywhere now.
