Wash park is very safe, it is a huge family neighborhood- there are 30 kids on our block alone and it is a mecca for 20 and 30 something singles moving into the city.
It happened on Ogden and about Kentucky.

And I'm not familiar with Monroe, Rock Hill and Dilworth. If you are saying Louisville is a dump, you are wrong. I did say it was a matter of opinion whether you like the city or the burbs.

Thanks! The Monroe versus Dilworth reference helps me. I am definitely looking for a Dilworth - like area and that was my impression of Washington Park. Got it. Thanks! I definitely want to be closer in to town in a more urban versus suburban setting.

where did I call Louisville a dump??? I read the Money magazine article, I know Louisville was the best place in teh country to raise a family according to the article!!
I used to live in Charlotte, I was compariing some Charlotte communities for Carolinahokey so she would have good feeling.
Louisville is great- I just didn't want you misrepresenting Wash Park, another hugely desirable area in which to live.

Well, I certainly didn't understand what you were getting at. And I said "if" you are calling Louisville a dump; I really didn't know. You did seemingly refer to Wash Park as a more desirable location. I did say city vs suburbs is a matter of opinion.

Hi Carolina,
We used to live in Dilworth in 1995-1998. We're in West Hartford, CT now. Going to Denver this weekend to look around. Planning a move this summer. We are looking at Wash park and other areas in Denver and planning on sending our kids to DPS. Still in the research phase. But thrilled to be coming to Denver.
Good luck to you.
