CHEAP studio????
Ok, so I just got a bomb dropped in my lap. I finally got a call back from the manager out in denver that I was waiting to call me. I was hoping to be moving to denver like the second week of feb.... but that was like a month ago. NOW he calls me today and says he'd like me to be there the second week of feb! That's only like a month away!
I need to figure out a CHEAP place to live and FAST!!!
Does anyone know of like cheap studios that do like a month to month rate??? (And by cheap I mean like $300-400!) ........ I know that's really LOW, but I seriously can't afford much more at this point! Please someone direct me to a good place and HELP!

I lived in the Versailles when I first moved to Capitol Hill. Their studios were on the ground level and on a busy steet, but cheap. Worth a try.
The Versailles - 789 Clarkson Street - Denver, CO

They are condos that are frequently rented out. Prices vary but you will need to contact the HOA on availability. I checked the web site and didn't see anything, I will see what I can find out.

You might be able to find something in Glendale. It's fairly centrally located, too. I know there are many people who hate Glendale for one reason or another, but it's not absolutely terrible. I'd live there before I'd live in some of the other neighborhoods in the metro area.

I'll most likely be right by the Park Meadows Mall........ and honestly....... driving a half hour to work is NOT bad for me (that's what I currently drive)....... I'm used to driving around Chicago, so Denver driving is a breath of fresh air for me

I would look in the 80124 (littleton) area first. The commute from downtown to that way out mall can be a real ***** depending on weather, accidents etc.
There is lightrail to the mall -- area. Not the mall proper although I believe they now run a shuttle from the station to the mall instead of the previous solution, or lack thereof.
3-400 is going to get you a ****hole no matter where you are; so you might as well be closer to work. Just a thought.
