Thank you for your reply. I, and we, are so excited. My hubbie is from the Sierras and is so excited for his escape from the flat lands. We love the outdoors. I am from Michigan which is a resort state but only in one area. I am so excited about exploring this place.

I went on a western slope tour last year and there is so much to see. I really liked Glenwood Springs and Ouray. Also very nice is Buena Vista and Salida.
Glenwood springs has this really cool outdoor adventure amusement park:
Glenwood Springs Colorado Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park - Cave Tours, Tramway, Thrill Rides & Family Fun
Also, the Hanging Lake hike is famous in the Glenwood Springs area. Awesome!
Haven't been to Royal Gorge Canyon yet, but it's supposed to be great.
I love the Great Sand Dunes.
