Default Economy?

We are considering moving to Denver from Phx. How is the economy there. And construction both residential and commercial? Outlooks? And schools? What are the safer family areas to live? Thanks

I can only answer your questions from my experience. Last year my family including 2 kids, 13 and 11 moved to Louisville (near Boulder) from New Orleans. It's the best move we ever made. I think the economy in the region is fairly strong but if you want specifics just ask. There is plenty of construction in and around Denver . We love the Boulder county schools, our daughter is in special ed and we think she is getting good services. We are in love with Louisville, in fact a few years ago it was ranked the #1 place in the country to raise a family! Highlands Ranch to the south in Douglas county is growing fast with a lot of young families as well. Please, if you want more specific info, just ask. BTW, I work in Denver and it's about 30-40 min commute from Louisville. I hope this helps.
