I need your Denver advice!
Looking into making the move from Tucson to Denver more than likely sometime between July - September of this year. I would be seeking employment as a radiology tech in a diagnostic imaging dept. and am curious how many hospitals are located throughout the Denver area? Also are there any major Radiology outpatient clinic sites throughout Denver? For example, here in Tucson we have a company called Rad Ltd. that has several outpatient clinics all over the city.
What is the usual range one could expect to pay for rent for a 1bd/1ba place that has a garage? Ideally I would like to be close to the mtns for some great skiing both resort style and backcountry, fishing, hiking/backpacking, and maybe some river trips whether it be canoe or kayak.

There are a ton of hospitals in the area, such as Rose Medical Center, Sky Ridge, Fitzsimmons, National Jewish Health, Porter, St. Lukes....and even more private imaging centers.

In my experience, there aren't a lot of apts. with garages. The only one we had was actually a tri-plex style building. Neither of my DDs has a garage.

I've seen some brand new, beautiful apartments in Saddle Rock ( southeast Aurora) that have a detached garage. I actually pictured the place in my photo tour. Rent is somewhere in the ballpark of $700. That's on the other side of town from the mountains. However, there's a new major hospital at Parker Rd & E-470 which is about a 5-10 minute drive away.

You might look in Craigslist for a place called Falling Water in Ken Caryl ranch area--or just under Denver rentals--Denver back page or Westword..They are privately owned condos--but often have quite a few for rent---I looked in to buying one several years back...They have some one bedrooms with garages--not sure if any for rent now---One bedrooms rent for 750-1000, two bedrooms 800-1500..pretty nice little condos with great C-470 access to I-70 to ski resorts...The condos are located just outside Ken Caryl Valley--literally five min.. to excellent hiking trails--I lived Ken Caryl Valley for a few years growing up.. so I am very familiar with that part of Littleton--It's a great area for sports minded and in my opinion one of the Metro's best locations next to the hills, kind of boring for night life because it's the suburbs, but a nice quiet area..--If intersted -- do your searches for Ken Caryl or South West Littleton...Just one suggestion-- Good Luck
