Highlands ranch does have a lot of problems --Moderator cut: rude ... but come on.

Do remember that Compton, California, one of the most dangerous ghettos in the country, used to be the same type of neighborhood as Highlands Ranch. Everybody there thought that since it was a rich neighborhood that gangs could not infest the area, and look at what happened to it. I would reccomend to all citizens of Highlands Ranch to stay safe and take this seriously.

The quickest route from LAX to Hollywood takes me down Crenshaw through South Central L.A.

Not only is that area not as dangerous as it was 15 years ago, it bears ZERO resemblance to the cookie-cutter hell that is Highlands Ranch.

Well most gangs so not commit crimes against the general public, but it can happen and average citizens can be caught in the middle of gang wars. I would recommend just to be looking over your shoulder mainly around the area of Marcy Park. This park is a very dangerous place mainly from 9pm until about 5am. Just be careful better safe then sorry and if you see any activity that you think could result in crimes or violence, immediatly get into a safe place and call the police.

Ok well i spent 6 years as a pretty hard core Blood member and you should trust what i am saying. Most poeple do not see's what goes on at night time here now. Gang activity has increased here in the last 6 months.

Wow. That's quite a resume you have for a 15 year old! I think I had a paper route at that age.

Again, where do you get this information that there is an increase in activity? Just being on streets, some tagging or coming from a gang doesn't mean that there is an increase in activity. Typically the gang activity is at its peak during the summer months, not winter.
