If you are in Lodo and walk across the two pedestrian brides (one over the river and the second over the interstate) what is the name of the neighborhood just across the Interstate?
What's the general feel for that area? I thought it was sort of neat walking through. Also, looking on line, what is your opinion of the Berkley neighborhood? We're (my wife and I) are looking at possibly relocating from Raleigh, Nc. Thanks in advance for the comments. |

Highlands. Very cool place to live and be. Same flavor as Berkeley.

Highland: Great area -- very eclectic and unique. Lots of artists live there, many galleries; lots of independent shops and restaurants with no chains. Great location.
