Default Highlands Ranch Visit

Just came back from a visit to Colorado. We are from MA and hoping to sell our house and relocate in Highlands Ranch area. We are interested in buying a TH and took a look at the Tresana and also the Cornerstones at City Center. Liked both very much and was wondering if anyone out there is living in either yet. Looks like the Cornerstone and Brownstones are pretty completed but Tresana has a way to go yet. We also tried to view the Enclave Townhomes in Castle Rock but there was no one there on Sunday afternoon which we both found pretty strange. My daughter and son-in-law are living in Littleton. Does anyone have any input on any of these places or other new townhomes in that area? By the way the weather couldn't have been better!!

Are you looking for newer or brand new? Community amenities desired? Is there a commute to consider?

Shea builds a nice product. I have 4 new owners living in Town Center. 3 in Highlands Walk (2 years old) and 1 waiting to close at Tresana.

I am actually hoping for a new place but newer would also be a consideration.
We just need to sell our home in today's bad market. We were impressed with both Tresana and Town Center. As for location we intend to find work there since our expenses would be less are expectations for work will not be as high.

Why a condo or townhome & not a small home?

We are both in late 50's and have owned a home and would like not to have to maintain the outside of a home at this time in our lives. Would like a garage so therefore a townhome is more of what we would like. We do have a dog and a cat which I know in Colorado is not as much of a concern as in Massachusetts. Even townhomes here sometime do not allow pets!

There are two senior communites here in HR also. One is older, and more nondescript, and the other is in a golf course community.

Tresana is more of a concrete townhome community. Town Center near the library & the park is more dog friendly.

Highlands Walk has patio homes, and is near the daniels open space and the small houses would be easy to maintain (same prices)

Is Highlands Walk the name of the development? We did like Town Center but I don't think there are too many townhomes left in that. Seems like quite a few have been purchased.

Question Town Center at Highlands Ranch

Both my husband and I are 57 and thought Town Center townhouse were really nice more so the ones which were higher up on hill. I don't think there are many left to be sold there. AFter being house owners for 35 years we are really leaning towards townhouse living. The units at Tesana were much nicer than anything we saw in New England both cost wise and construction wise. At tresana the units we liked had quite a few stairs. We both are healthy and sometimes I think having stairs is just another form of exercise and I do know there were plenty of those units.
Does anyone know of any other new developments in that area?

There are some townhomes to be had at Town Center, and at Palamino, and at Tresana and there are a few more in Lone Tree and Centennial.

The Clock Tower Residences have yet to break dirt...
