Default Weather in Oct.

What is the normal weather along I-70 and I-80 during mid to late Oct. in Co?
We plan on driving from Reno thru Denver on into Kansas during this time.
Does someone have info on this? Thanks.

I dont think rt 80 touches Colorado. You catch 76 off 80 that goes to Colorado. October can be sun or snow. Just depends how the climate is that year.

I-70 driving can be treacherous that time of year in the mountain corridor. I-80 is less bad that time of year but weather can strike up there as well. Denver usually gets a late October snowstorm but I think your primary concern is going to be the portion between Salt Lake City and Denver, whichever way you go.
