Hello,

I'm going to visit a friend near Denver.
Now I'm wondering where to find a good ski area not too far from Denver (max. 1 1/2 hours drive). I've been to Eldora Ski Resort before but wasn't too impressed.
Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

There are several within 90 mins. of Denver.
Winter Park
Loveland
Eldora
Arapahoe Basin
Keystone (my favorite)
Breckenridge
Copper Mountain

It really depends where you are in Denver - west side, north, etc.

As mentioned, within 1.5 hours you have a lot of options. It partly depends on what kind of skiing you want to do. The biggest factor IMHO would be snow -- go to whichever place gets the most snow when you're out here.
