I'm trying to help my husband figure out what his commute to downtown will be like from our new house, and I'm a little puzzled. There is no mention of a Smoky Hill-Picadilly Park N Ride on the "official" Park and Ride map on the RTD-Denver website, but if I go to the route that runs along Smoky Hill (135), it clearly shows a Park and Ride at Smoky Hill/Picadilly. I drove to that intersection, and didn't see it. Where the heck is it? LOL! Is anyone here familiar with that PnR? Thanks!

Considering where you're moving, why would you drive out of the way to the Picadilly P-n-R (I've never heard of it either; my guess is it's probably a designated portion of a strip mall parking lot) with the goal of getting downtown? That would take forever waiting for and riding on the bus just to get to 9 Mile Park & Ride (Parker & I-225). Instead, I would drive directly to the 9 Mile park & Ride, park in the garage there, and then get on the H line (light rail) from there straight to downtown.

This is another example of our "crack" team at RTD. They consistently do not know their own routes and stops. The "experts" can never get their website correct. I am a big supporter of public transit and have had great experiences with RTD but some of their antics are beyond my comprehension...Why??? Probably overpaid entrenched workers in their positions without any worthy supervision...

VP, you are right...it probably would be easier for him to drive to 9-Mile. He wasn't thrilled with the idea of riding a bus, and then transferring to the train.
