Why do Clubs in Denver close at 2 am?
Why do the nightclubs in Denver close at 2 am except for two:am (which is horrible) and Hip Hop sections of nightclubs at 1:30? Is there an ordinance that makes clubs close at 2?
Im asking because i come from the south and in Texas, clubs dont close until 4 or 5.

The casinos in Colorado have passed an ordinance to be opened 24/7. You can go there if you wish to be up and out later however, I hear that last call (for alcohol ) will still be at 2/230.

The majority of states have last call at/around 2am which is typically when bars/clubs will close (at least within an hour after.) With that, I think Colorado is the norm.

Um, it's called the law. Also, many states are not like this as you've pointed out. We were in Atlanta partying until 5am no problem. The link here is the alcohol, therefore you will see a very few open past 2am but they are not serving alcohol.

Interesting. I wonder how were we allowed then to drink booze past 2am in Atlanta then? Also, how about New Orleans, Miami and New York?

Each state sets it's own liquor laws. I remember traveling cross country with some friends years ago and trying to buy beer from a gas station in Houston about 12:30am on a Sunday night (I think) and being told he couldn't sell after midnight.
