A rather pointed question; are you a brother or a sister? Atlanta is a fantastic city -- when I work out there I generally stay somewhere near Peachtree and take Marta to Buckhead (and the airport). Atlanta is a very chocolate city; Denver is the opposite .... especially in the suburbs. This makes some folks uncomfortable.

Weather wise, there is no comparison. Denver is dry and generally warm. Atlanta has some great heat and moisture -- and fantastic summertime storms.

Yes, Denver has some rather ugly strip mall infested suburb and exurbs. So does Atlanta. Yes, people in Denver generally mistake a southern accent for stupidity.

There are trees in Denver in people's yards, but it's not treesy like Atlanta, or any of the eastern cities that were bascially carved out of the forest. The natural vegetation here is as someone described, grass. Native trees grow along creek beds, where there is more water. The native trees are not hardwoods like maple or oak, but cottonwoods and willows.
