North of W. 21st is probably recommended. I don't know anything about the schools on that side of town.

Hi,

If you're looking in the Denver Public Schools school district, you can use this to find your local school for a given address:

Denver Public Schools - Find Neighborhood Schools

Once you know the school, you can use this to see the state's rating:

School Accountability Report - School Search (http://reportcard.cde.state.co.us/reportcard/CommandHandler.jsp - broken link)

Some people like the rating system and think it's important, others think it's flawed and downplay its importance. It's probably best for a parent to go visit the school in question, get a tour, and see things first-hand. Getting feedback from parents with kids in the school is also important.

Asking this group for details on a specific school is going to get you a better response that a general one.

Also, as a general etiquette note, typing in all capital letters makes it look like you're shouting.

Good luck!
