Default Any slow moving, peaceful kayaking spots near Denver??

Hello,

Moving to the Denver area from Tampa soon and was just wondering if anyone knows of any slow moving rivers to kayak in?? I'm use to, and love, the slow moving, peaceful spots like there are here and i'm a little worried. I've been searching the internet for spots near Denver and all i've found are very white water, rapid-y looking rivers. Please let me know if you know of anywhere I would like!

Thanks to all who can offer some info!
Desiree

The City of Golden has a kayak park.

City of Golden Colorado - Where the West Lives! - Clear Creek Whitewater

Confluence Park also has a kayak run and is closer to downtown Denver.

Of course both of these are small areas so they might not be exactly what you're looking for.
