Default Rentals in lone tree area

Looking at moving to Denver, will be working in Lone Tree. Want a nice place to rent that is not congested, safe, allows dogs, and a good place to rent. Looking at apt. ratings, none of the apts there are great. Just would like some input from someone who knows first hand and might not be biased, like angry tenants.

There are a lot of new apartments in Lone Tree and close by. A whole bunch of new apartments west of I-25 and south of C-470 and some older ones a little further west. There are three brand new complexes on Dry Creek Road just east of I-25 and within walking distance of the light rail. The Lone Tree area in general is a nice exurb. I don't know if any of the newer building allow dogs, however.

We stayed at a corporate apartment on Park Meadows Drive in Lone Tree just across from the Lincoln light rail station called Amli at Park Meadows (Marriott leases from them for corporate apartments, but anyone can rent directly with them). We found it to be a very quiet complex, not brand spanking new but not old and run down either, and it was a very nice area. And they do allow pets.

I lived at the Crest at Lone Tree for a year. It was alright but nothing great. I've heard other people say good things about the Amli. The area along Park Meadows Dr. isn't too dog friendly. Park Meadows Dr. is a busy street and there aren't many side streets to walk your dog.

fwiw, I wouldn't read too much into those apartment ratings. After reading the ratings about the Crest, I thought I was going to be moving into some sort of cess pool. People always seem to exagerate on those sites.
