Default Conifer/Morrison 285 commute to Swedish

Does anybody have any idea about what the commute would be like to Swedish Hospital from the Conifer or Morrison foothills areas off of 285? Also, any idea on the schools in Conifer. I heard there is some new development up in Conifer such as restaurants and grocery stores. Does anyone know if there are any plans to build a recreation center or anything like that. I appreciate any comments from anyone who knows the area.

Morrison wouldn't be too bad of a commute, since Morrison is right at the edge of the city-- I'd say it's a 20-minute commute during non-rush hour times, add 15-20 minutes during rush hour. Conifer would be a longer commute, probably 35 minutes during non-peak times. Either would be a pretty easy commute, though, straight down 285 (which generally doesn't get too congested during rush hour-- the worst areas are around downtown Englewood, which is mostly due to stop lights not being coordinated in that stretch). I'm not too familiar with the Conifer area-- there is a lot of development going on around there, including a new shopping area, but apart from that I don't know too much about that. So hopefully somebody else can help you out there

There is a plethora of housing available in the foothills..Conifer, Pine, Morrison, Golden, Deer Creek Canyon, Roxborough...as you have more people you will have more stores to satisfy the people...I have not heard of any plans to build a rec center - most folks make the drive to Golden to swim.

Some properties are on sewer, but most are well and septic...must get a fabulous Realtor who knows their way around the different foothill communities. I know several.

Evergreen has two large rec centers. There is no need to go to Golden if you live in Conifer.
