I live near Centennial airport and a few weeks ago they flew over my apartment complex. It was loud enough to set car alarms off.

That's not completely out of the ordinary living near Buckley AFB, happens at least once a month.

Conehead is on a distinguished road
It was my neighbor. He's an F-16 jock out of Buckley. They were flying to various fly by's in the Denver Metro area on the 4th (Coors Field, Mile High, etc.). It was supposed to be a 4 ship formation but one of the pilot's got sick before the ride so they turned it into a 3 ship. They were using our street in Highlands Ranch as part of each timing loop before they went to another fly by location. Way cool!

I was up at Kenosha Pass again Wed. night camping with my dog, I saw several military jets fly threw the tiny canyon where I was perched. They were almost close enough to throw a rock at. I know they were probably just on routine maneuvers, but the blow back almost blew the beer and burger right out of my hands. Kind of like that satisfied unique feeling after going to great lengths to reach your own remote summit somewhere, then finding a MCDonald's wrapper next to a newspaper dated that day.
