Did anyone witness the three fighter jets flying over Highlands Ranch around 6:50pm??

What an amazing site to see.

It was cool. I was wondering if it was upped patrol for the holiday, or fly overs for the area.

I know Thornton usually does a fly-by early in the eve before fireworks start. And then just before they start the fireworks, a parachute team jumps with fireworks attached to their feet. Great sight to see.

Do the jets fly out of Buckley in Aurora or Colorado Springs?
Once in awhile I see 'em land at Centennial to refuel.

I didn't see them - but I heard them. We are in Aurora near Buckley, so I am thinking they came from there. They were VERY loud.
