I am looking for a reliable, affordable business that replaces windows. I have had a quote for 3 windows plus a picture window and it seems rather expensive- $2900! Does anyone have a recommendation for someone in the Denver area? Thanks in advance.

It is $140 per window to replace ( labor). So take away that x the number of windows and you have what they are charging for the windows themselves.

Damn man, if you're getting $140 a hole you're rollin' in the dough or working for sears. lol... Here in Michigan at the companies that are big enough to keep guys working all year have paid 66 a hole (you buy ALL materials) for the past 15 years. Even with materials going up. They just throw more work at you and tell you to work 18 hour days or they'll hire someone else. I'm glad I got out of it. Did the contracting thing for quite a while. Enjoyed working by myself but they dang near killed me and my truck.

66 a hole and you bought materials, wow what a rip off!!!!! Home Depot charges between $140- $160 depending on size, ( I know a guy that works there). No not working for sears!! Since you gotta have insurance when self employed, it helps cover the cost. You can get sued for improper installation, leaks and such.
