Default Moving From Grand Junction

Hi Everyone =]
I'm new here, but I figured this would be the best place to ask this question. I am transfering colleges in December, and moving to Denver from Grand Junction.I'm 21 and I have two kids a 3 year old a 6 month old. I have been to Denver quiet a few times but only to go clubbing and enjoy the night life with my friends who live there. I guess my question is how is Denver when it comes to family life? Are there good daycare centers for when I am in school and my husband is working? Thanks a lot!

What part of Denver will you be living in? I have tons of family in GJ and have lived in Denver off and on. Denver is very family friendly. What school are you going to be going to?

I'd say that Denver is a super family oriented city. Do you have any more specific questions?

I am finishing my fall semester here in Grand Junction at Mesa State online while in Denver and then I will be attending Metro State in January. Where are the most violent parts of Denver? I have been to 5 points once and my husband lived in Montbello which was kind of scary, so other than those where would you not suggest?

Cherry creek is a richer version of Redlands. Littleton and E aurora are nice. Westminster seems reborn.

Here's a Moderator cut: link removed, linking to competitor sites is not allowed that breaks down crime by neighborhood. Short version: closer in, higher crime. Unfortunately, that means closer to Metro. For convenience and other nice things, you might want to consider Highland neighborhood.
