Default Moving to Aurora... question!

Hey!

I am in Wisconsin now and have the opportunity to move to Denver and crash at a friends apartment for awhile (or stay in an extra room of his for 300 a month). Since I need to get out of Wisconsin and start my life (I'm 24 and just graduated University), I want to do this soon - and with only about 2-3k in savings. I'd be living in Aurora near the UC-D medical center campus apparently.

Does anyone know how good the job market is out there? Originally I'd only need to make enough to stay afloat and pay rent. I am planning on starting to apply for jobs right now and then move there in a month or so.

Also, how long does it take to get to Boulder or Downtown from Aurora?

Thanks a bunch!
