Default Geocaching

I know we're pretty late to this party, but my family tried Geocaching for the first time this week - what an amazing way to explore the area.

Type in the zip code for Highlands Ranch and over 3000 hidden treasures come up. There are more than 12000 in the entire state. I can't begin to imagine how many there must be in the entire metro area. We've only done four so far, but we've gotten some amazing views of Denver and the mountains already.

Just wanted to share with my Denver buddies (or maybe remind those who've done it before) a great FREE way to get off the beaten paths and have fun.
